About the event
Join PEARL and Community Cares, LTD for our 5th Annual Pine Car Derby Race on Saturday, October 12th! This fun and free event for kids helps support PEARL's programming.

Racers check-in starts at 10 am with the racing set to start soon after. At check-in the cars will be weighed and measured to ensure that the car doesn't exceed 5oz and that the car is able to fit on the track as well as fit under the timing mechanism.
Kids can bring their own pine car derby racer or can pick one up on Saturday, October 5th from 11 am to 5 pm at the Old Town Marketplace. We will also have the track set up so that racers can get in some test runs in anticipation of Race Day on October 12th.
